The following are the pictures from the Auburn Ski Club Summer Biathlon held at Auburn Ski Club at Donner Pass. A Run/match shooting event was held in the morning, and a Mountain bike/match shooting event in the early afternoon. Pictures for the Mountain bike/match shoot event are posted here. For those of you who are interested, the results of both these races are posted here.
This race was sponsored by Auburn Ski Club and was organized by Sally Jones. We had seven juniors being coached by Glenn Jobe, seventeen sports class racers, and six match class racers show up. The weather wasn't bad - we had some gorgeous sunny clear skies, but unfortunately gusty winds that coated everything with a grimy dust. Temperatures, were in the 80's for the races.
The following pictures were all taken withmy Nikon 950. I have reduced the size and resolution significantly to cut the load times.
