This is one of several pictures of Comet Swan I took from my backyard in Sunnyvale, Ca. with aMeade LX-200, 10", and SBIG ST-9 CCD camera. Exposure time was 30 seconds. It is actually a black and white photo - the blue is an artifact of my image processing. At the time, the comet was easily visible with a small pair of binoculars about an hour after sunset.
