These are random shots I took at the World Winter Masters Games where I competed in Biathlon. The games were based out of Bled, Slovenia. The Biathlon venue was actually located north in Pokljuka which is in the Triglav National Park. While in Slovenia, I spent part of a day walking around the capitol city of Ljubljana, and also visited the Postojna caves - a must see. This region is where the term Karst was originated.
Click on any thumbnail below to see a bigger version. Once you've brought up the first picture, you can either press the back button to get back to this thumbnails page, or you can use the left/right arrows at the top of every page to sequentially view the rest of the pictures in full screen format. The up arrow will return you to this page. I reduced the size of all the pictures so the pages will load in a reasonable time. If you want a higher resolution version of a picture, drop me a line and tell me what file you want - you should see the file name on the status bar at the bottom of the browser if you put the mouse cursor over the picture if you have the status bar activated - otherwise right-click on a picture, select "save as.." and note the default file name.
