Coyote Point Summer Biathlon 31 July 2005

The following are pictures taken at the San Mateo Summer Biathlon held at Coyote Point County Park on July 31st. For those of you who are interested, the results are posted here. We had a very light turn-out for this race - probably a combination of vacations, the San Jose Grand Prix, Gilroy Garlic Festival, San Francisco Marathon, and a half dozen other running races the same day. For those of you who couldn't make it, we had a perfect day for the race - it was actually a little foggy, not hot like it had been for the last few days.

Thanks to all the RSOs of the Coyote Point Rifle and Pistol Range for running the shooting clinic , manning the range during the race, and helping with range set-up and teardown. Thanks to Wally and Liese Rapozo for helping with range set-up, food shopping, purchasing and distributing door prizes. And thanks to all of you who helped clean up after the race. The event wouldn't happen without all of your help and participation.
