The pictures below were taken with a Canon SD550 at the San Mateo Summer Biathlon held at Coyote Point County Park on July 30th. We had a perfect day for the race -the weather was deliciously cool with no wind - unlike the week before when we were breaking high temperature records left and right. It was sunny with scattered clouds, and we actually got a few drops of rain! Who knows where that came from - there were no clounds overhead at the time.
Thanks to all the RSOs of the Coyote Point Rifle and Pistol Range for running the shooting clinic , manning the range during the race, and helping with range set-up and teardown. Special thanks to John Stauffer for fetching, arranging for refurbishing and helping to rezero rifles and helping with range set-up, Mike Norton for doing reburbishment on all the rifles, to Larry Morris for manufacturing new course pin flags, and misc work, to Marlene Roberts and David Bonds, who did data entry and compiled all the race result data, and to the Kilpatricks who did all the race registration and timing. And thanks to all of you who helped clean up after the race. The event wouldn't happen without all of your help and participation.
