Summer Biathlon

This Summer Biathlon was organized by a group of us that are informally calling ourselves the Bay Area Biathlon Group. The race was held at and sponsored in part by Livermore Rod and Gun Club. The race took place under sunny clear skies, but gusty wind conditions. Fifty two biathletes ran the course, and most stayed for the post race pizza, drinks, and prize drawings which were provided by some of our other sponsors - Round Table Pizza (great pizza - I vote for increasing the number of the veggie pizzas next time!), Forward Motion Sports, and Coca Cola. The results are posted here.

The following pictures were taken with an 8 mm video camera and digitized. Sorry there are not more interesting pictures - I haven't used the camera much and I wasn't recording when I thought I was.
